Description


Dorsal soft rays (total): 7 - 9; Anal soft rays: 9 - 10. With two rows of dorsoventrally elongate markings on the lateral surface of the body. Distinguished from J. lineata by the absence of (1) a swelling between the urogenital opening and the anterior base of the anal fin in females and (2) a mandibular canal Pore W.
